Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Thamizhi ("the App"), developed by DynamWorks LLC ("Company" or "We"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Thamizhi is a script conversion and keyboard application that allows users to convert text between English (Latin), Tamil, and Thamizhi (Tamil Brahmi) scripts. The App includes a system-wide keyboard extension and an in-app conversion playground.

3. Subscriptions

The App offers an optional auto-renewable subscription:

• Thamizhi Pro — billed annually at the price displayed at the time of purchase

4. Subscription Terms

By subscribing to Thamizhi Pro, you agree to the following:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price
• You can manage and cancel your subscription by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

5. Free Tier

The App provides free access to script conversion between all three scripts. Thamizhi (Tamil Brahmi) output in the conversion playground is limited to 15 characters for free users. The keyboard extension is available to all users without restriction.

6. Accuracy of Conversions

While we strive for accuracy in script conversions, the App is provided as a tool for educational and practical use. Tamil Brahmi is an ancient writing system and scholarly interpretations may vary. We do not guarantee that all conversions are historically or linguistically authoritative. The App should not be used as the sole reference for academic or scholarly work.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DynamWorks LLC. The Unicode character mappings used in the App are based on the Unicode Standard and are not proprietary.

8. Permitted Use

You may use the App for personal, educational, and commercial purposes such as typing and converting Tamil scripts. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Redistribute or resell the App or its content

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All text processing occurs locally on your device.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall DynamWorks LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DynamWorks LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected in the App with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
